It is a recent construction in fact it dates back to 2001. The parish is in a temporary church located in Mother Teresa of Calcutta Square to meet the great residential development of the territory of the town, considering that peripheral areas are not very involved in the parish communities. The territory of the parish has been created reducing the territory of the Church of San Leonardo Abate, of St. Joseph the Artisan and of St. Francis of Assisi, what is in the district of Santa Croce. Work for the construction of the new parish complex and the new church began on April 2008.
